I’m Sarah, the owner and farmer behind Garden Valley Flower Farm. Flowers have been part of my life from the very beginning—I grew up on a flower farm in central Ohio (elevation 971’, so definitely not a flatlander!). Some of my earliest memories are of spending time with my mom in the greenhouse attached to my parents’ first home. I truly believe Mother Nature created flowers to give us permission to indulge in a little luxury—to breathe in their scent, admire their beauty, and simply feel good.
My farm sits on 10 beautiful acres in the small Sierra foothill community of Garden Valley, where I grow specialty cut flowers using sustainable methods. My goal is to bring fresh, seasonal, and chemical-free flowers to my community—because there’s nothing quite like the joy of farm-grown blooms. I live on-site with my partner, Brian, and a few cats, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to share this dream with you. Thank you for being here!
